Media and Picture in Picture
Control audio and video from any tab, and float a video in ArxPiP while you work.
This page is a first draft. It may change before the public beta.
Recording planned
Start a video, switch tabs: it floats into ArxPiP. Pinch to resize it, drag it to a corner, then click Return to Tab.
Media Controls
Open Window → Media Controls, or the Media section of the Library. It lists what's playing in your tabs. For each one you can:
- Play or pause.
- Open ArxPiP, or Return Video to Page.
- Return to Tab.
- Turn on Open PiP automatically when this video becomes hidden for that site.
Private windows aren't listed.
ArxPiP
ArxPiP is Arx's floating video window. It shows one video at a time.
- Drag it with two fingers to move it, and pinch to resize it.
- Video calls that use the browser's own Picture in Picture, such as Google Meet, open there too.
In Settings → General:
